I live in Washington, DC with my husband, Brian, and two very loveable and active kids, Christian and Mackenzie. I’m currently in the dissertation phase of my PhD–at least I hope it’s just a phase. I keep sane by creating lots of arts and crafts (my favorite medium is whatever fits the project I’m working on at any given time), reading old books (even new editions of them), playing a little LEGO Harry Potter (or Star Wars or Indiana Jones…) with my son, designing something really cool with my daughter, talking about anything and everything with my very patient husband, and posting occasional thoughts and projects on the blog.
