30 in 30 Memory Works Card Challenge: Day 28

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Can you believe November is almost over? (Me either!) Even harder for me to believe is that my youngest niece turned 16 on Monday! Happy Birthday, Anna! Hope your card arrived safe and sound!

Okay, so today is Day 28 of the Memory Works 30 Days, 30 Cards challenge. If you haven’t been to the Memory Works Blog yet, be sure to check it out. There’s a ton of inspiration to be had from a fantastically talented group of designers! Today’s challenge is brought to us by the wonderful and incredibly talented Cathie Hollins.  Be sure to visit Cathie over at That’s No Scrap (that name always makes me smile) for more fabulous inspiration! Cathie’s challenge sketch is from one of my favorite challenge blogs, Mojo Monday (2010). (As always, you can see the actual sketch on the Memory Works Blog.)

So on with the Mojo:

For this card I’ve used a variety of papers. The music paper in the back is from Teresa Collins’ Christmas Cottage collection, and the Olive cardstock is by Close To My Heart. The bottom panel (with all the ornaments) is from the 6×6 pad in Bo Bunny’s Rejoice collection. I added a little Silver Shimmer Trim to tie it all together. The 3-inch ornament was cut from Colonial White cardstock using the CTMH Artiste Cricut cartridge. The stamp is from the CTMH October Stamp Of The Month set, and is stamped in Cranberry Exclusive ink. The brad and “joy” tag are from the Christmas Cottage brad set. Finally, I added some silver and Christmas red stickles for a little extra sparkle.

Here’s a close-up:

Love that shine!

Hope this gives you a mid-week boost of inspiration. Have a beautifully creative day!

Wow, that stamp goes perfectly with that paper. Love all the shimmer in this card.
