A Little Bit o’ Sunshine

Hi All! I’m proud to announce that I’m officially part of the design team for the Stuck On U Sketches challenge blog! Woo HOO!!! I’m designing for the die cut challenges and today is my first official design!

Today’s challenge (appropriate to kicking off the summer) is “Here Comes The Sun!” You can create anything having to do with the sun and summer. Here’s my creation:

(Unless otherwise noted, all cardstocks are from Close To My Heart.) For the card base, I used Kraft Cardstock layered with White Daisy. I layered a little paper from the Simple Stories Summer Fresh collection on the cardstock. The sun and watermelon are cut using the Cheerful Seasons Cricut cartridge. The sun is cut at 3 inches from Creme Brulee, Honey and Sunset cardstocks. The watermelon is cut at 1.5 inches from Topiary, Pear, Cranberry and White Daisy Cardstock. The greeting is stamped in CTMH Outdoor Denim Exclusive Ink using the Patterned Pennants stamp set.
